Alliance Laundry Appoints Schoeb President

RIPON, Wis. — Michael D. Schoeb has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Alliance Laundry Systems (ALS) and will report to CEO Thomas F. L’Esperance in leading a seasoned executive team. Schoeb brings 20 years of operations, marketing and executive leadership experience in both domestic and international operations, ALS says.
He previously led Wausau Homes, a Wisconsin-based builder of custom homes, as its president and chief operating officer. Earlier, he spent six years with Hilti Inc., a construction and building maintenance supplier, working in positions of increasing responsibility in Hilti’s Oklahoma; Washington, D.C.; and Brazil locations.
Schoeb’s résumé also includes service as general manager, sales and marketing manager, and product specialist with Johnson Controls. He successfully identified and expanded markets within the United States, Chile, Mexico and the Caribbean for that company’s commercial and industrial accounts, ALS says.
Schoeb has an MBA and master’s degree in science from Johns Hopkins University and an undergraduate degree in political science from Mount Saint Mary College in Emmitsburg, Md.
“Mike has the experience, drive, global perspective and personality that ALS needs,” L’Esperance says. “These are the key qualities required to further our development as a worldwide leader in the commercial laundry industry.”
ALS manufactures products under the brand names of Cissell, Huebsch, IPSO, Speed Queen and UniMac.
