The primary focus of this position is to manage all aspects of plant operations such as employees, productivity, safety compliance, production planning, maintenance, equipment operation and departmental communication. The Plant Manager will ensure the Laundry is meeting required Production Standards in a timely manner with the highest possible quality. To ensure all personnel are properly trained to safely perform their duties. To ensure Policies and Procedures are adhered to at all times and OSHA and TJC standards are fully adhered to.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage production environment, product inventory and product orders within budgetary parameters
- Provide production reporting to all company executives as needed
- Maintain and ensure all company associate programs are executed
- Execute and administer weekly team production meetings, and daily production supervisor staff meetings
- Ensure plant is operating within OSHA, BBP and Universal Precaution guidelines and standards according to company policy
- Maintain communication channels with Service, Maintenance, Administration and Sales departments
- Conduct daily product audits to assure quality standards are met
- Manage Associates within the scope of progressive disciplinary guidelines
- Manage and execute the Human Resource function as it relates to plant operations and functions
- Manage and ensure housekeeping schedule is followed
- Other duties as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in plant management
- Associates degree or higher education required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Industrial laundry or medical linen processing experience strongly preferred
- 5 years industry knowledge preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Knowledge of financial systems
- Flexible schedule
- Computer literate
- Wage and Hour experience
- Ability to be trained in multi-faceted capacities
- Health care or universal precautions training

$75,000 - $100,000
