Alliance Laundry Systems Launches ‘University’ Training Program

RIPON, Wis. — Alliance Laundry Systems has launched a new, improved “industry-leading” training program as part of its continued commitment to Alliance’s Customer One initiative, the company says.
Alliance Laundry Systems University (ALSU) focuses on the continuous development and education of Alliance’s employees and authorized customers, with an emphasis on certification for service technicians.
Alliance Laundry Systems’ washers, dryers and other equipment are sold under the Speed Queen, UniMac, Huebsch, Cissell and IPSO brand names.
ALSU’s online training classes are designed to help technicians better understand the operation of equipment components, teaching them how to diagnose and correct issues quickly and accurately. Technicians become certified after successfully completing roughly 30 courses and passing a final exam. To maintain their certification, students must complete three classes every two years.
“Every class is created in conjunction with equipment engineers and designers to help increase students’ knowledge of Alliance equipment,” says Brenda Henke, director of training and technical communications. In addition to classroom activities, users have access to an online reference library that includes informational videos and documents.
Alliance claims it is the only laundry manufacturer to offer a training program of this magnitude.
